Overview
In 1998 Tiffany & Company purchased two new Trane Centrifugal Chillers as part of a building modernization project of their New York City Landmark Building on the world famous 5th Avenue corridor. A service contract was established shortly after and has been maintained since. Over the years, Trane has been Tiffany’s partner in helping the company accomplishing its sustainability goals.

Details
In 2014, The NYC Trane Intelligent Services team identified energy saving opportunities. Tiffany’s then committed to sustaining their savings by subscribing to Trane Building Performance in 2015.

Trane identified five energy conservation measures that leveraged the latest building automation and equipment technology that are being used today:

• Water Control Strategies
• Air Control Strategies
• Lighting Controls Strategies
• Equipment Modernization & Replacement

Highlights
By implementing these strategies and equipment, total energy reduction was approximately 20% and results in a total CO2 reduction of 366.5 Tons.
